This is a particularly effective pet correction device. I have used many others but this one utilizes many smart advances that others do not. For instance, one of the first things I noticed about this device is it comes with a dual plug, meaning 1 charger works to simultaneously recharge both the color and the handheld device. Most other devices on the market require two completely different charging cords and plugs.

The handheld device is designed to be easily held in the larger size of an American hand. The buttons are spread out so the user clearly makes the defining decision between vibration, sound, and shock. That way you don't accidentally shock your pet when you meant to only vibrate her slightly. The device has both a clip and a wristlet, making it easy and convenient to keep on your person.

This machine was not difficult to maneuver whatsoever. It comes with an instruction booklet that is filled with easy to understand steps comma as well as photos and drawings. I have used this device faithfully for a week now and I can say that my dog is on full compliance at this point. I like the control of being able to decide when he needs a minor correction versus when he needs a shock. He has gotten shocked twice this week and other than that just the vibration is all it takes to make him stop his incessant barking and be a good boy. I have tried automatic shockers before but those end up shocking him even when he is just playing with my other dog. Would this one, I have full control so he doesn't get punishment he does not deserve. I'm trying to be a good dog owner and my neighbors don't appreciate when my dog is crazy super barking at the children as they are walking to and from the bus stop. I have used many dog training collars in my day that have ranged all the way from 100 to 800 dollars in price. One of them had a very long and hard to hold transmitter that had to be serviced after it fell into my pool. All of them had a complicated and bulky charger. The units performed OK.

This can be an amazing tool if you are patient and know how to use it. There are tons of you tube videos that can help you learn.

One important key is to find the working level shock stimulation for you dog. This means the level in which they perceive it and are annoyed by it but are not yelping and afraid of it. Once this is found you can achieve amazing results.

I also use the beep sound and accompany with a treat to teach them when they have done something good. The vibrate is a great to have feature too.

If you are thinking about getting one of these to help with whatever issue you are having with your dog, I say go for it, and you cannot lose with this brand which worked very well for me and I highly recommend!
